What is Taiji?
Taiji is a great way to fight stress. A low impact, slow motion exercise practised as a series of postures called the ‘form’. The movements are circular and never forced. The muscles are relaxed, the joints never fully extended. Those who practise taiji work within their limits, but do so with constancy. Taiji follows the breath but with mental attention and focus. Taiji is meditation in motion.
